Smilin' Sphere explodes upon death, so it must be defeated last. However, it can also cast PSI Fire, so it can do a lot of damage. If you have learned PSI Shield Σ, use it immediately; otherwise, use PSI Shield α on at least Paula and Jeff. Defeat the other enemies quickly and then use PSI Fire on Smilin' Sphere to defeat it.
